In our news wrap Wednesday, White House counsel Don McGahn is stepping down this fall after an expected Senate vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The president dismissed talk that he might have a problem with what McGahn told special counsel investigators. Also, a Texas police office faces up to 99 years in prison after being found guilty of killing a black teenager in 2017.
