Hello, my name is Ellie Griffin. I have been exploring and using the acrylic fluid art technique for the past few years. I particularly love the Dutch pour technique which was introduced by Rinske Douna @RinskeDouna. Her art is amazing!! I have used the end of a paint brush to create petals that give a floral appearance. This piece has gorgeous pink and neutral colours giving this abstract painting a soft pleasant feel with a touch of metallics.
Most of my paints are acrylic Global paints. This is a brand that is Australian made and easily accessible in most art stores.
Base colours are a custom-made using Global paints. Mainly white with a touch of brown and pink to give it earthy tones with 2 different hues.
Top colours are Global imp -
Custom made using fuschia pink and coral with white. I made 4 different tones using these colours, but adjusting the amount of coral and fuschia to my liking. I also added metallic pearl in 2 of these colours to give it some shimmer.
I also used green and metallic pearl to create some contrast.
Other colours used were Rose gold, metallic pearl and Pebeo - iridescent gold. Last colour was Amsterdam black with Australian floetrol.
