Knowledge Nook Session - Wednesday, October 2, 12:30 p.m.
Stressors occur every day to virtually every animal on a dairy, and transition cows are no exception. Whether stressors arise from management, pathogens, feeds, social interactions, or weather, our goal is to mitigate the potential negative and support a normal animal. This session will focus on the value probiotics bring to the transition period, continuing the story of every animal, every day.
Dr. Morrill received a B.S. in Dairy Management and Animal Nutrition from the University of New Hampshire and her Ph.D. from Iowa State University. She currently serves as a technical service manager for ruminant probiotics and silage inoculants for Novonesis.
