KOPER – IZOLA – PIRAN – SEČOVLJE Cycling the Slovenian Coast | Parenzana | 30 km

In this video we ride approximately 30 km along the beautiful Slovenian coastline, combining seaside cycling paths, coastal cliffs and sections of the historic Parenzana trail.

The ride starts in Koper, continuing along the seaside cycling path towards Izola. From San Simon we climb up to Belveder, where we enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the bay.

The route continues along the cliffs towards Strunjan, passing the Strunjan salt pans and heading towards Pacug.

After that we descend to Fiesa, followed by another scenic climb along the cliffs to Piran.

From Piran, the ride continues along the sea through Bernardin, Portorož, and Lucija. The final section follows the Jernejev Canal, where we join part of the historic Parenzana railway route.

The tour finishes near the Sečovlje Salt Pans, close to the border with Croatia.
