Ever had your harp break a string right before a gig?
Heres how to pre-stretch a new harp string while installing it, to make sure that it can hold tune for a few songs before needing to be retuned again.
This method can be very helpful to avoid that nightmare situation of pre-gig (or mid-gig😅) string breaks.
I've done this so far with nylon, fluorcarbon, and aquilla bio-karbon strings and its been a gamechanger.
Note: If done too roughly some string types can break, so make sure to practice first with strings that you a replacement available so that you dont accidentally break a string while doing it in real time.
