In this video, I sit and react to a video recently uploaded by Game Arts YouTube channel showcasing a breakdown of how Ken Sugimori defined the Pokémon look we all grew up with and have come to know and love. I myself was attracted to this hobby solely based on the art of the cards, as well as the collecting aspect. This video definitely shed a lot of light on my view for the hobby, breaking down the original art styles and then further explaining the highlights still visible in todays art work.
