Oregon Bay Laurel, also known as Myrtlewood, is an incredibly aromatic evergreen tree native to Oregon and California. Similar to the Mediterranean Bay Laurel, its leaves can be used fresh or dried in soups and stews, although the leaves are much more potent and half as much can be used. The nuts are also edible after a leaching process.
