The Department of the Air Force held the first-ever Defender Flag exercise at Fort Bliss, Texas, Oct. 23-27, 2023.
The event, hosted by the Air Force Security Forces career field and planned and executed by the Air Force Security Forces Center, was a realistic assessment and validation of base ground defense tactics, techniques, and procedures during intense, realistic scenarios. Ten teams representing each major command took part.
