Lilly Palm loves when things are happening around her – making rail work the perfect fit. After graduating from a rail-focused machine operator program, she joined Perssons Entreprenad & Åkeri and quickly found her place.
Today she mainly operates the company’s electric Huddig 1370T Tigon. The hybrid runs quietly, saves fuel, and can work up to two hours on electric power before recharging automatically. In tunnels and tight spaces, the silence makes communication easy and the job safer.
With Engcon’s EC214 tiltrotator and EC-Oil, Lilly switches tools without leaving the cab. During our visit she swaps from a bucket to a large sweeper in seconds and clears ballast along the tracks with ease.
Lilly loves both her job and life in Norrbotten.
“This Huddig has become my machine,” she says. “I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
