✨ In this video, I’ll show you step-by-step how to make this simple but beautiful cheesecake at home using just a few ingredients.
📌 Full Recipe
• Ingredients •
✔️ 380g cream cheese, softened
✔️ 95–100g sugar (adjust to taste)
✔️ 1/8 tsp salt
✔️ 1/2 tsp vanilla paste or extract
✔️ 3 large eggs + 1 egg yolk, room temp
✔️ 15g cornstarch (about 2 tbsp)
✔️ 200ml heavy cream
✔️ 4g Earl Grey tea (2 tea bags)
• Instructions •
1️⃣ Pour the cream into a small saucepan.
Add Earl Grey tea and heat gently (don’t boil).
Once warm and fragrant, turn off the heat, cover, and steep for 10–15 minutes. Let cool.
2️⃣ Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
Line a 6-inch round pan with parchment paper, letting it rise above the rim.
3️⃣ In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time, then yolk, mixing gently.
Sift in cornstarch, mix lightly, then whisk in the cooled tea-infused cream.
4️⃣ Pour into pan.
Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown and puffed, with a soft jiggle in the center.
Broil 1–2 minutes at 230°C (450°F) if needed to darken the top.
5️⃣ Cool completely at room temp, then chill at least 6 hours or overnight.
6️⃣ Slice and enjoy! Cold for clean cuts, or room temp for soft, creamy texture.
