Devil Kings - Lady Butterfly | Conquest Mode

Описание: I decided to just upload these story modes in one big video rather than have a bunch of little ones that aren’t even any different beyond the player character. Speaking of, I play as Lady Butterfly here, who is otherwise known as No. Or Noh. Or Nohime.

She fights with duel pistols and a few other weapons, but we won’t get to see most of those since it would involve leveling her and I REFUSE to play this game anymore than I have to. Her S-string is an endless stream of pistol fire that never has to be reloaded. Her T-string is a combo of kicks that I forget to do because the guns are overpowered and stupidly easy to spam. Her Fury attack has her make an explosion of light pillars all around her which has short range but is good for when surrounded.

If I bothered to unlock it, Lady Butterfly actually gets Dante’s Ebony and Ivory pistols as one of her upper tier weapons. This game has a few references to DMC, such as the title font, Masamune being able to wield Alastor from DMC1, and the DMC1 battle theme being a song you can play with the right equipment. It’d be cool if it was worth the effort to unlock.

I play two new stages here and they are the last two stages left to show in the game. I’ll time stamp all the battles below.


2:49 - Landing at Nanvia - This battle is kind of fun, where you storm a beach controlled by Arslan who talks with...some kind of foreign accent. I’m not sure what exactly it’s supposed to be, but I actually like the way he talks. He fires cannons at you until you near the fortress. Most the shots are harmless, but if you hear a whistling sound then keep moving because it means the next one is going to be a direct hit if you just stand there. He also has his own version of Vertical Tank Stomp that you have to fight before you get to fight him. He keeps up the trend of having stuff like this in future games as Motochika Chosokabe. In this game, he shares movesets with Lark, Irdene, and Orwick.

15:22 - Flooding Giuthas Nam - This stage has us fight Kahz, otherwise known as Motonari Mori. Even with a different name, he still never shuts up about the sun in this game. In fact, I’d say he’s had the absolute least personality change out of every character in DK. Anyways, his stage has us fight waves of troops that break gates and swarm in. You are told to protect allies, but only the player matters, so really you just defeat enemies until he appears, then defeat the man himself. You can get around the gates by climbing the walls even with them being closed as well. There’s some hazards on the map, but they barely deal damage so they aren’t a threat and you’d have to walk right into them to ever get hit by them. Kahz shares movesets with Muri in this game.

51:05 - Twisted High Temple - You know, they go out of their way to make this more fantasy setting. Then they keep the timeline of 1582 AD, pretty much confirming it takes place in our world.


Lady Butterfly’s ending is her bathing in a hot springs because they decided we didn’t have enough fan service with Venus. She talks about planning to have the Devil King’s child.
