3 months post resection of the deep peroneal nerve

Описание: This patient is now 3 months from her resection of the deep peroneal nerve to help her chronic dorsal foot pain that had been present for years. She has had numerous operations on the top of her foot which have led to an injury to the deep peroneal nerve. We had diagnosed this injury with a nerve block of the deep peroneal nerve which completely removed her pain temporarily. She then elected to have this nerve removed permanently. The nerve was divided and the live end of the nerve was implanted into muscle. She's had excellent response to this procedure with complete resolution of her pain.
