Semeia de flores teu chão
E abre a janela aos perfumes do ar,
E esquece tua porta entreaberta,
Porque na hora certa
Verás teu poeta surgir
E entrar e abraçar-te chorando
E amar-te até quando
Tiver que partir.

Lights a moon in the sky
And many stars in the eyes,
And let yourself be beautiful and without a veil
Wrapped in a soft canopy of moonlight.
Seeds of flowers your floor
And open the window to perfumes the air,
And forget your door ajar
Because at the right time
You will see your poet to appear
And come and hug you crying
And to love you even when
You have to leave.
