PNT Episode24 | Pasayten Wilderness | Day2 | Devils Ridge Trail

Описание: Blessings! In Episode 24, Mark and Noah continue our week-long journey across the Pasayten Wilderness in Northern Washington State along the Pacific Northwest Trail. Late July, the wildfires in the forests are burning; making the adventure potentially more adventurous. Due to the forest fire in the North Cascades in 2022, we had to skip the miles from Hannegan Pass Trailhead through the Cascades to the East Bank Trailhead on Ross Lake. From listening and watching other hikers videos of the Pasayten, I had high expectations for this section of the Pacific Northwest Trail. Day 2 of the hike got us from 1800ft elevation on Ross Lake up to about 7000ft elevation by Devil's Dome. Only planning on hiking 12 miles with that amount of vertical in one day, we pressed on a total of 17 miles and camped a couple miles short of Holman Pass. The views of the North Cascades did not disappoint. Enjoy!
