There, the certainty was born: being a DJ wasn't just a choice—it was destiny, a ritual, and a commitment to time and to others.

In the early 1990s, Lisbon breathed electronic music. The Kremlin, with its stone arches, uneven floor, and the gloom that lit up with every light, became a mandatory pilgrimage site every Thursday. Each night there was a ritual, each set a constellation. There, I experienced the grandeur of the international scene: Danny Tenaglia, Paul Oakenfold, Adamski, Tony Humphries—artists who, under the curation of DJ Vibe, transformed each night into a parallel universe. Being there, up close, was understanding that music could be philosophy in motion, a language that transcends words and spans generations.

When I returned to the North, I settled in Porto, establishing myself in residencies at some of its most iconic clubs, sharing buds with some of these legends. I also toured the country, including the Algarve, always maintaining my own identity, my own vibe, the mark of a sonic vision that refuses to be diluted by the mainstream. Each set was a gesture, a manifesto, an invitation to discovery, a bridge between those who wanted to feel something new and those who let themselves be guided.

The music also originated in the studio, where I transformed sensations into works of art. The albums OO Orange Originals I & II are maps of experiences, fragments of nights, parallel universes. Dark Matter, Maga Circus, The Grinder, Colored Synth—names that carry echoes of four decades of curiosity, risk, and invention, beats that still vibrate.

Pride is an understatement. More than looking back, it's realizing that music isn't linear; it's a constellation that connects past, present, and future. Forty years later, I continue to guide the dance floor, discovering new beats, opening doors to unexpected experiences. Each night is an invention, each set a manifesto, each beat a celebration of life and freedom.

Cada noite ali era ritual, cada set uma constelação. Ali experienciei o grandioso da cena internacional: Danny Tenaglia, Paul Oakenfold, Adamski, Tony Humphries — artistas que, sob a curadoria de DJ Vibe, transformavam cada noite num universo paralelo. Estar ali, de perto, era compreender que a música podia ser filosofia em movimento, uma linguagem que ultrapassa palavras e atravessa gerações.

Quando regressei ao Norte, fixei-me no Porto, estabelecendo-me em residências em alguns dos seus clubes mais emblemáticos, partilhando botões com algumas dessas lendas. Rodei também por todo o país, incluindo o Algarve, sempre mantendo a minha própria identidade, a minha onda própria, a marca de uma visão sonora que se recusa a diluir-se no mainstream. Cada set era gesto, manifesto, convite à descoberta, ponte entre quem queria sentir algo novo e quem se deixava conduzir.

A música também nasceu em estúdio, onde transformei sensações em obra. Os álbuns OO Orange Originals I & II são mapas de experiências, fragmentos de noites, universos paralelos. Dark Matter, Maga Circus, The Grinder, Coloured Synth — nomes que guardam ecos de quatro décadas de curiosidade, risco e invenção, batidas que ainda fazem vibrar.

Quarenta anos depois, continuo a guiar a pista, a descobrir novas batidas, a abrir portas para experiências inesperadas.
