Deuteronomy 32:35 declares, "Vengeance belongs exclusively to God," liberating the wounded spouse. Trusting God means maintaining one's character and peace, believing He will handle the situation. A praying couple should take hurt and anger to God, who can convict a spouse's heart more effectively than human argument. This active prayer invites God to step into the disagreement for restoration and justice, often with better outcomes than anticipated.



 



It is essential to diligently study and understand your husband's needs and emotional landscape. Your submission to your husband is obedience to God and the ultimate way to bring Him glory. When upset, immediately turn to God in prayer. Express your pain honestly, then trust God to defend and correct the situation. His correction is fair and may involve softening your spouse's heart or correcting an ungodly response in you. God is the God of restoration, and anchoring your marriage in faith provides the necessary patience, forgiveness, and perseverance for all challenges.
