Chris is joined by AST's Jake, Time4Talent's Russ, and Artlist's Chris and Harry.

Jake Saterlay has been a Software Developer for six years. He recently made the transition to Technical Lead at his current company, AST Networks. He is very community focused, taking a keen interest in the Norfolk Developer community, and wants to help other software developers, be it aspiring or established, have the best career in tech that they possibly can.

Russ is a Norwich based Talent Acquisition specialist and Careers Coach with 20 + years’ experience of helping careers seekers and building teams for global employers. Via his own TIME4TALENT team, Russ combines his passion for gaming, connecting people and careers coaching together with his inside knowledge of internal recruitment, to guide careers seekers into long term sustainable employment.

Harry is a seasoned software engineer with 4 years of hands-on experience, expertise in end-to-end software development life cycle processes and experienced in project review and documentation. He has strong skills include C/C++, Parallel computation and graphics technologies such as OpenCL and OpenGL, more recently moving into full stack web development using NextJs, Typescript and creating cloud infrastructure using AWS and Firebase. Chris is the Lead DevOps Engineer for Software at Artlist, a tech company that offers high-quality music, sound effects, video assets, and innovative software tools for creatives. In this role, he oversees the automation of building, testing, and deploying software, working collaboratively with various teams to streamline development and enhance release cycles.

Chris Applegate holds both a BSc and a PhD from the School of Computing Sciences. His career commenced as a Research Associate at UEA, where he specialised in developing computer graphics and vision software for medical applications. His academic pursuits also included computational biology, later applying his expertise to agri-tech applications of computer vision at Earlham Institute. Transitioning to the private sector, Chris took on a pivotal role as a DevOps Engineer at a major insurance company, working on cloud infrastructure, before advancing to his current leadership position at Artlist.

Chris Filip is co-founder of Game Anglia, a not-for-profit community interest company that helps the young people and independent game developers in the East of England get the connections, skills and experience needed to succeed in the UK-wide and international game development industry. He is also International Business Development Fund Manager - UK Global Screen Fund.
