PPA Scale™ Author Dr. Williams Discusses Dyslexia Screening with WPS®

Описание: This is a 10-minute question-and answer session with author Dr. Kathleen Williams, who is a classroom teacher, school psychologist, and speech/language pathologist by training. She gives a quick overview of reading components, her motivation for the development of the Phonological and Print Awareness Scale (PPA Scale™) and its companion Building Early Literacy Skills: Phonological and Print Awareness Activities. She also talks about the need for general education teachers’ involvement in screening and the instructional process in partnership with other trained specialists in schools. Prevention and early intervention is key!
