A flight over the karst spring of the Louros River in Epirus, Greece. From above it looks like an eye, a deep circular source where crystal clear water rises straight from underground. The intense turquoise color comes from limestone minerals and the constant flow of fresh spring water, giving it that unreal glow even under hard sunlight.
A quiet place, hidden in the countryside, where the river is literally born. Slow ripples, dense vegetation and perfectly transparent water make it feel closer to a natural pool than a river source.
