It's #FenderFriday today, and time for our weekly #FocusOnSound video! And in today's episode, Jack walks us through the specs and tones of the superb Player Series Jaguar from Fender - in its latest, brilliant H-S incarnation. Featuring an alder body, Modern C-profile maple neck, and a 9.5" radius Pau Ferro fingerboard sporting 22 medium jumbo frets, we have a previously USA-exclusive fret count on this guitar, narrowing the gap between the American and Mexican-made instruments.

Perhaps one of the biggest features of this instrument, remains its tasteful combination of an alnico 3 humbucking pickup in the bridge, and an alnico 2 single-coil in the neck, complete with a coil-split option for the former. The instrument is versatile, comfortable, and brings the legendary Jaguar in at a more affordable price point, while retaining many of the features of its American-made counterpart!
