Описание: In this seminar, Dr Emile Smidt discusses the police as a critical concept and its implications for conservation labour and governance. In the second part of the recording, Dr Annette Hübschle speaks about researching the illegal wildlife trade through a green criminological and southern lens. Finally, Assoc Prof Daan van Uhm will present on power dynamics, corruption and the illegal wildlife trade. The event was co-hosted by the Centre of Criminology and the Global Risk Governance Programme.
