Mussallem is the co-founder of the Linda and Mike Mussallem foundation and the retired chairman and CEO of Edwards Lifesciences, which is a global leader in patient-focused medical innovations for structural heart disease. Edwards’ market-leading technologies for people fighting cardiovascular disease have helped millions of patients around the world. One of the biggest lessons he learned at Rose was how to be curious and not to accept “what is” as a limitation, but as a beginning. That belief helped him take a leap of faith and dream big about what is possible in the field of medical technology. “Rose does not just create an engineer,” said Mussallem. “It creates an incredible learner who is stimulated to learn more and know why.”
