TTRP Talk: Cats the Conspurracy

Описание: I backed this game a while back and I finally got the physical copies. I make a big deal out of the fact they didn't include the PDF. It's 99% on me. I put 1% on them because I found enough evidence to support the fact that I'm not crazy that so many companies throw it in for backing them. At over $100 dollars for the physical stuff, it was a little rough to charge again for the PDF.

As far as the size of the font is concerned, it IS very tiny. I make a big deal out of it, because not only does it bother me (like I had a hard time getting through the mechanics chapter) but other people have complained about the size too. So it's something you'd need to know before you gave them over $50 for the physical book.

Now, I genuinely think the setting is brilliant and the art is great. There's a lot to like here. It's all around super cute. I do not know why the character sheets are small...and the book...and everything else. It doesn't make much sense. Also, I know that if they increased the font size, the book would've been bigger.

But that didn't stop other companies who chose that size to boost up the font for legibility. In a day where accessibility matters, I'm surprised they didn't do more to accommodate.

All that said, there's a lot of love that went into the content of this package. Just because I'm not fond of how they put it together doesn't mean I think they did a bad job with the product itself. I love the cats, the ideas, and the whimsy. It's all great.

Just wish they made some better choices in production.
