If you play music, you want to be sure to play good. At least you want to play the right notes.
In classical guitar music this is more often difficult from the very basic point of view: it's not always clear, what notes the composer meant to be played.
The differences in very important specs can be enormously contrasting: time signature, note length, chords to name the most important.
In Fernando Sor's studies as in most of his music we don't have the scores in his handwriting, and even editions made under his supervision or during his lifetime sometimes cause more confusion than certainty on how a pieces has actually been thought.
