I decided to tackle Damian's themes primarily as musical experimentation. His theme was always both dark and tragic, yet surprisingly thunderous. To play into the more dark and twisted tone of both his theme and his character, I made a set of highly distorted, amplified and then harshly compressed string instruments. From Cellos to violas with eerie distortion.
Obviously, I couldn't do this without also including the vocals which turned out to be the hardest to balance with the distorted strings. All and in all, this was very fun to do and I do hope you enjoyed it.
