For over 500 years, the people of the plains and the hills have gathered here to keep the ancient Barter System (Biniwoy Protha) alive. Following the principle of "Eitu lowk, seitu diok" (Take this and give that), people exchange ginger, turmeric, and herbs for dried fish, pitha, and sweets.
It’s not just a market; it’s a symbol of harmony, brotherhood, and a living piece of history that has survived since the 15th century!
