When Daniel brings his fiancée, Amara, home to meet his mother, he expects a warm welcome. Instead, Amara is met with cold scrutiny and relentless “training” disguised as preparation for married life. Hurt but determined, she endures the ordeal for love.
Weeks later, Daniel visits Amara’s parents—only to find himself on the receiving end of the same harsh treatment. From awkward family dinners to passive-aggressive advice, both sets of parents seem locked in a generational mindset that love must be tested through discomfort.
