In this video I share my first experience with growing ground cherries in an AeroGarden Bounty.
I had heard that ground cherries are hard to germinate and take a long time to grow, so I started off by putting the ground cherry seeds in a wet paper towel, in a Ziploc bag. It took about a week for some of the seeds to germinate.
At that time, I moved the germinated seeds into two different "grow anything" AeroGarden pods. In one of the pods, two ground cherry plants started to grow. In the other pod, the ground cherry failed to grow. This worked out okay, because the ground cherry plant ended up being so huge, that it was probably a good thing to grow only one ground cherry plant in the AeroGarden Bounty.
