What Do Shadow and Ice Worm Leviathans Eat? | How Are They Alive? | Subnautica: Below Zero Theory

The Shadow Leviathan is a leviathan-class predator found within the Crystal Caves and Fabricator Caverns biomes. It possesses an elongated black body with smooth skin and a triangular-shaped head with 3 pairs of jet-black eyes. This creature is one of the most terrifying and dangerous creatures we currently know of living in Sector Zero. The Ice Worm Leviathan rivals this jet black leviathan of this position, however. The Ice Worm is an extremely aggressive leviathan-class organism found within the Arctic Spires biome. This deadly beast is an ambush predator, burrowing beneath the ice, and drawn to vibrations above it. This creature is also one of the most terrifying and dangerous creatures located within Sector Zero.

But there is one major question that I have often wondered regarding these two humongous life forms. In fact, I have wondered the same for the leviathans in Subnautica. What do they eat? Such enormous leviathan-class creatures need an incredible amount of food in order to survive. Let’s jump into this intriguing mystery and see if we can find an answer...
