Gloomy but great! | TRIP REPORT | Air France A220 ECONOMY Manchester to Paris CDG

HAPPY NEW YEAR! All the best for 2026!

As we have now entered the first full week of 2026, we will be bringing you 5 videos from the latter end of last year, starting off with another trip to France, in support of our sister publication JTW Equine Images' coverage for the 2025 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Hippodrome ParisLongchamp.

Join us as we fly from a gloomy Manchester Airport on board one of our favourite aircraft, the Airbus A220-300 of Air France.

We would also like to ask a small favour from you; putting together a small vote, as we are looking to head back to Dubai in late March. But how we get there and back... that is the problem! We have narrowed it down to 3 potential trip reports, all in economy unless stated,

1. British Airways A320 and A380 outbound via Heathrow, Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A320 via Heathrow inbound,
2. Emirates A380 direct to DXB and return direct to Manchester Emirates A380,
3. Air France A220 and Boeing 777-300ER to Dubai via CDG, then Boeing 777-300ER (PREMIUM ECONOMY) and Airbus A220 back to Manchester via CDG.

We will run the vote until January 31st, so get your guesses in, drop them in the comments below, and you might just see your vote was the route we decided to do!
