Трофейный паровоз ЗИ-030 - Steam locomotive Zi-030 - H0 Piko BR55 conversion Dampflok 1/87

Описание: I have considered for a while to convert my new BR55 into an OV-locomotive. The wheel configuration is almost identical, also the tender and the boiler are very much alike. However the driver’s cab is different, especially its position to the footplate. So I decided not to do a so so conversion and go for something different. Maybe we should all ask Piko, Roco or Trix to oroduce a real OV “Ovechka” 😁
Last saturday I discovered very interesting information about the Zi-030 and Zi-031 steam locomotives, former BR55 converted for use in the “Zavod Ilicha” factory in Mariupol. So this weekend my BR55 became ЗИ-030, except for the footplate handrails, which I can’t figure out how to make. Any ideas in that are very much welcome!
