Biography:
Marc had holes in his shoes at 16, but by 25 he found his niche in entrepreneurship. After co-founding two failed start-ups in university, he found his first win with truLOCAL. As the co-founder and former CEO of truLOCAL, he built the company into a team of 60+, expanded across Canada and the US, and successfully led its $16.7 million acquisition — all within five years. In 2022, Marc celebrated the launch of his first book with Forbes, True Founder: What No one Else Has the Guts to Teach You About Starting Your First Business”. Today, Marc is the CEO of DB8 Labs, a leading prompt engineering firm specializing in LLM product development for businesses putting Marc at the forefront of consumer AI adoption.


For fun, Marc has also doubled down on his passion. His love for cars has translated into a 2-year racing career which saw him win Rookie of the Year, as well as race the Mercedes AMG GT4 in 4 professional races. Today Marc is pursuing his goal of running his first 100-mile ultramarathon
