Joe Gibbs Racing has escalated its lawsuit against former competition director Chris Gabehart, and the stakes just got much higher.
In an amended court filing, Joe Gibbs Racing is now seeking a temporary restraining order, a preliminary injunction, and permanent injunctive relief that would prevent Gabehart from working for Spire Motorsports for 18 months. The team argues that Gabehart’s new role at Spire is effectively the same job he held at JGR and violates the terms of his contract.
