Ready to explore the opera house and learn what it takes to be a great opera audience? The "doors" are open. First, take a guided virtual tour of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and then enjoy a magical opera performance that’s written just for you and your little ones.
Part One:
A trio of opera singers—Jamie, Ashley and Abdiel—welcomes us to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, telling the story of how it was built through the commitment of people called the Founders. We tour the opera house, learning what an orchestra pit is, who leads the orchestra, how many seats are in the theater, and much more. The singers then name us the FINDERS; awesome people with the curiosity to find a spectacular place where stories are told through music.
