LASAGNE RECIPE

what you need:
1/2 lb italian sausage
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 yellow onion
15 oz ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
64 oz your fav pasta sauce
box of lasagne noodles
1 egg

1. Preheat oven to 375* and bring large pot of water to a boil. Dice onion and heat a 2 tbsp olive oil in pan. Cook onions until soft and translucent. Add both jars of pasta sauce to cooked onions and meat once cooked thought and bring to a simmer.

2. Brown ground beef and sausage together with onions until fully cooked. Meanwhile, add 12-14 lasagne noodles to boiling water and cook per instructions on box.

3. Mix ricotta cheese, egg, 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese and 1 cup parmesan cheese in a medium bowl. Season with salt, pepper and italian seasoning to taste if you would like.

4. Layer meat sauce on bottom of 9x13 baking dish, then 4 noodles, then spread thin layer ricotta mixture on top of noodles and repeat. The last layer will be noodles, sauce and then remaining mozzarella cheese!

5. Cover with tin foil and bake at 375* for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Let rest for 5-10 minutes and serve.
