Sivuyile Ngcanga, former Mercedes-Benz technician and founder of Sheer Versatility Group, developed the Zula navigation app to address the lack of formal addressing in South African townships and rural areas.
Recognised as a 2024 Global Innovator by the Royal Academy of Engineering (@RAEngNews), his technology is helping emergency services and couriers reach previously unmapped locations.
He joins @TsepisoMakwetla to discuss the inspiration behind the app.
