Balos Crete | If you want to Balos one option is that you have to drive to Chania, pass by kissamos, turn to the village kaliviani. At some point there the road ends. And there begins the risk because you will have to drive about 7km to get to balos beach. Please not that 7 km are a lot of time driving because you will have to drive slowly if the road has no concrete but contains only ground dirt and stones. And stones are the ones you should be afraid of. Now I am going to show you some footage from the road to go to Balos so that you can make your own opinion if it is worth the risk.

The Sea is crystal clear and the sun reflects the water and makes all kind of colorful reflections. Also the venetian castle that was built to protect Crete from invasion is worth the visit.
