I looked back at my original videos on this jeep and realise I had come to the conclusion I needed a bigger ESC to give that motor more power.

I have looked at the spec for the ESC and I think it is probably OK, but I think the motor needs a higher voltage than it can supply, so if I want to leave that motor in place, I will need to get a different ESC and a 4S or 5S battery. That is unlikely to happen in the near future.
