"The King" Jerry Lawler talks about his infamous match vs Kerry Von Erich when AWA hosted SuperClash 3. There was confusion backstage about who would walk out with the dual champion.
Lawler's AWA title and Von Erich's WCWA championship were on the line but promoters Verne Gagne and Jerry Jarrett both had different opinions on the outcome.
World Class Championship Wrestling (then known as WCWA), Powerful Women of Wrestling (POWW) and CWA out of Memphis also provided wrestlers for the event.
