What you’ll need:
• 6-8 Hard Boiled eggs (optional) •
• Pork Belly (i mix in regular pork also, some don’t like pork belly) , you can find sliced pork belly at the Asian markets.
• 1-1/2 tbsp Fresh ground pepper (big pellets)
• 2 tbsp Black Sweet Soy Sauce
• 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
• 2 teaspoon Salt (TEASPOON! Video says tablespoon! My fault!) •
• 2 tbsp Chicken Bouillon (chicken powder, soup base)
• 10-12 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
• 2 halves of palm sugar Directions (Found at Asian stores, sometimes packed in 8 pack)
• Boil amount of eggs you want to use ahead of time and peel.
Prep Directions
• Cut Pork belly into 1-Inch cuts and set aside in bowl
• Place 10-12 garlic cloves and fresh ground pepper into blender (I used the magic blender) and blend. If you don’t have a blender, just mince the garlic. I also prefer to use the mortar & pestle, I think it adds more flavoring that way. Mash ground pepper into find powder.
• Scoop the blended mix and pour onto the pork belly (sliced)
• Add Salt, Chicken Bouillon, both soy sauces. •
• Mix well and set aside pork belly
Cooking Directions
• In a medium pan, turn heat to medium low and place 2 halves of palm sugars in. Stir occasionally here and there. You can add a drop of water here and there to help the caramelization. Be careful not to have the heat on too high, burned sugar will mess up the taste.
• Once sugar is caramelized, turn the heat up to high then place your pork belly in. Proceed to brown the meat. You can also place in your eggs and carefully stir as well.
• Once meat is brown, pour in water just above meat level, cover it and place heat on high. Cook it for about 30-45 mins....or longer....up to 3-4 hours

If you have an instant pot, you can follow these steps.
After browning the meat, pour in enough to cover it. Transfer your stew to an instant pot. Remove your eggs (if you stirred it in while browning the meat) and set aside.. Select the meat/stew option. Set the pressure to HIGH. Set the time to 35-40 minutes and press start.
NOTE: DO NOT PUT YOUR BOILED EGGS IN WITH THE INSTANT POT. Transfer it back to a normal stove pot then add in your eggs and heat as normal. Adjust to taste but i have used this exact recipe and haven’t had to add anything. Enjoy and HIT LIKE!!!
