Act 1-2 - "The Lost Game" - This segment covers the initial concept for Shadows of the Damned, a game called "Kurayami." I cover what that game could've been, why it never happened and the remnants of the alleged prototype.

Act 1-3 - " Elevator Pitch" - Is the most frustrating section to this retrospective. It's centered around Grasshopper trying to work with a western company for the first time....which just so happens to be EA! It puts the whole story into perspective.

Act 1-4 - "What Remains" - This segment is a critique of Shadows, but it goes even further into the technical side of things by taking what we know about the turmoils of development and applying that framework to the resulting game. I mention PS3 vs. 360 differences, cut content, bizarre oversights and take some time out to appreciate the better qualities. It ends on a bit of a sad note, but I think anyone who loves this game should know the truth of what went down.
