A Thoughtfully Designed Home for a Beautiful Family of Six (and Aurum)


This lovely couple approached Inner Space Interior Designing & Consultation to renovate their existing 3 BHK home in Balkum—with a clear vision and heartfelt requirements.

Their brief was precise yet meaningful:
• A dedicated sacred space for Jesus Christ
• A separate, special space for Mother Mary
• A minimalistic palette of creams and whites with elegant metallic accents (gold, copper & rose gold) for the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom
• Black & white tones for one son’s room
• Warm browns for the other son’s room
• A kitchen island designed especially for the lady of the house
• And a very practical concern—a separate washroom solution for Aurum, their beloved pet 🐶

We began with detailed space planning, reworking the layout extensively to optimize every corner. The result?
✔️ A dedicated washroom for Aurum
✔️ Two attached washrooms
✔️ One common washroom with a dry area
✔️ A functional yet elegant kitchen island

The prayer spaces for Jesus Christ and Mother Mary were designed with deep respect—rooted in Konkan traditions, yet seamlessly blended into a contemporary aesthetic.

Every family member actively participated in shaping their home, making the journey as special as the outcome. And the most beautiful moment? 🎄
They celebrated Christmas in their newly transformed home—filled with warmth, faith, and togetherness.
