Описание: The Meitei organisation Arambai Tenggol surrendered arms following their meeting with Manipur Governor AK Bhalla. Arambai Tenggol spokesperson Munindro Mangang says the Governor assured them that no Separate Administration would be granted to the Kukis. The arms handover, he said, was based on this assurance. He said the Arambai Tenggol would aid in peace and development efforts in the state. The Governor also assured members of the organisation that Central forces and police would protect Meitei lives and properties in peripheral areas. He also claimed that General amnesty would be granted to all Village Volunteers, including AT and AT members would be allowed free movement in uniform. He also said that after disarmament, if the Meiteis get attacked again, then the government would not interfere if AT takes necessary retaliatory action. He said the Governor has assured that NRC, FRM, and Border fencing would be implemented.
