Описание: In 1940 the helicopter had fulfilled the vertical dream but the U.S. Military weren't impressed and couldn't see an application for them. It took all the helicopters strength just to lift off the ground. Greater engine power was needed. In World War II Germany found that power in the Focke-Achgelis Fa 223. It had a single 1000 horsepower piston engine powering a twin rotor system that measured 78 feet from tip to tip. The two rotors gave it enormous lift capacity and with a max speed of 150mph and a ceiling of 23,000 feet the FA-223 wasn't a dragonfly it was a dragon.
