Описание: At BSC we have embarked on a program to source and import 1960's Porsche 911/912's specifically from the USA, in order to offer for sale the best examples possible without the well known issues of rust damage found on Uk and European Porsches.

This car is an original USA 1968 912 imported into UK and has only had one repaint around 9 years ago and is still in excellent bodily and chassis condition, today.

Looking around the car we can see the excellent original door shut and under bonnet Panels and superb engine bay condition.
An original registered Uk car would have been fully restored with mostly new replaced body and chassis panels within the past 46 years.

The favourable USA climate really protects the car and generally sun bleaching of the paintwork is the main common issue not rust.
This car proves that the process of importing USA classics is extremely worthwhile and provides a much better proposition to a Uk car.

The Porsche 912 previously shown shares the same body,chassis, gearbox as the equivalent 911 and well under half the price!

On the road the 912 is much more nimble and better balanced than the 6 cylinder 2 litre 911 as the four cylinder 1600 cc engine is placed nearer mid chassis rather than the overhung 911 engine.

The gearbox is a dog leg layout with first gear to the left and back but once mastered it provides a lovely driving sensation with the delightful engine throbbing behind you.

This model is currently under valued and is set to rise and catch up with the equivalent 911.
