0:40 It is 1 January 2021 and you are at the Temple Road crossing on the west side of Dunkirk, New York as Norfolk Southern train #178 approaches the crossing. There were three Norfolk Southern engines on this train. The third engine was the Norfolk Southern's Central of New Jersey Heritage unit. Nice catch of the Central of New Jersey Heritage unit. Out of curiosity, I looked at the database of Norfolk Southern train numbers that I found on the Internet and I discovered that this train originated at Norfolk Southern's Ernest Norris Yard in Irondale, Alabama and was to terminate at Norfolk Southern's Bison Yard in Buffalo, New York. Irondale, Alabama is a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. That is a long journey for this train.
4:52 You are on Willow Road heading south in the Town of Dunkirk, New York. The Town of Dunkirk, New York is a separate governmental entity from the City of Dunkirk, New York. The Town of Dunkirk, New York is located west of the City of Dunkirk, New York. You actually stopped in the parking lot of the Village Hall and Justice Court of the Town of Dunkirk, New York when you caught CSX train #Q009 going of the low 10 foot one inch bridge over Willow Road. Train #Q009 had a mid-train DPU. Just before train #Q009 finished crossing the crossing over Willow Road we heard the CSX defect detector near the Temple Road crossing at Mile Post 42.6 reporting that their were no defects on the train on track #1.
8:19 You are at the CSX tracks at the Middle Road crossing as CSX train #Q166, the Canadian Pacific double stack run through train from the Schiller Park Yard in Schiller Park, Illinois to Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This train as usual had a mid-train DPU. As you stated in your comments when this train crosses into Canada, after passing through Buffalo, New York, this train becomes Canadian Pacific train #142. When this train leaves the Schiller Park Yard, is it Canadian Pacific train #142 before it arrives on the CSX?
