Eberlestock X2 Carry-on Setup for Africa Part-1

Описание: Hi folks, this is part of my African load-out series. I will be using my Eberlestock X2 as a carry-on bag. Once I get to Africa I will convert it into a hunting pack. See contents below. Enjoy.

Clarification Note: The inside of the bat wings are only designed to fit a two liter bladder or comparable object. Bulky spotting scopes with an angled eye piece and large 80mm objectives will NOT fit inside the zippered bat wing pockets, but a smaller/compact straight scope will fit as long as there are no other items inside any of the inner and outer side pockets. All of the tuck pockets must be empty to allow for lateral space consumption. Smaller spotting scopes can also be accommodated between the main compartment and bat wing sleeve by loosening the compression straps and placing the scope inside the internal tuck pocket and then cinching the scope against the main compartment. Lastly, larger spotting may be accommodated on top by simply laying them flat and utilizing the retention flat to secure it. They may also be carried inside the side water bottle pocket so long as there are no other items in any of the tuck pockets to impede or obstruct the fit. It can be secured further by lashing it to the upper webbing with a piece of shock cord. The Gunslinger II is a larger pack and better suited for carrying large objects.
