In the late 1980's-1990's, PAL played the Philippine National Anthem before starting their inflight-entertainment. That Inflight National Anthem's rendition was a majestic one, arranged by Lucio San Pedro and performed by the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus.
To celebrate 120 years of Philippine Independence, this inflight national anthem was made featuring all that that the PH flag carrier, Philippine Airlines has to offer as well as the airline's milestones.
As a loyal patron of PAL when it comes to PH carriers, I made this video in conjunction with the 120th Philippine Independence Day celebrations. This video uses the same Lucio San Pedro-arranged rendition of the Philippine National Anthem by the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus. As much as I can say, the Lucio San Pedro version is the better way to sing the National Anthem, MAJESTIC and SOLEMN.
