By integrating the latest safety information and leading-edge human performance research, the DBOSS program provides an enhanced understanding of the hazards, equipment, and procedures needed to address emergency situations in an offshore setting. The program has been designed to meet and exceed current regulatory training standards across international jurisdictions and can be translated into multiple languages. Using a plug and play design platform, training providers will have the ability to select the specific training components such as immersion suits, lifejackets, personnel transfer systems, and helicopter type for their unique operational needs.

Helicopter Ditching & Survival Training Program (HDSTP)
To increase the possibility of survival after a ditching, this program was created to ensure that personnel have access to the most relevant offshore helicopter passenger transportation information. Based on the results from more than 50 underwater egress human performance research projects and a review of more than 300 accident investigation reports, the information contained in the HDSTP details every aspect of ditching survival. The inclusion of bleed-edge 3D animation ensures that personnel can visualize survival techniques before, during, and after a ditching occurs. The HDSTP can be completed as a stand-alone program for contract personnel or as part of the DBOSS for those employed in the offshore committee.
