Qantas CEO Alan Joyce announces thousands of job losses as part of coronavirus recovery | ABC News

Описание: Qantas will cut at least 6,000 jobs across all parts of the business.

The airline also says 15,000 employees will continue to be stood down, particularly those associated with its international operations.

Six of its remaining 747 aircraft will be retired immediately.

Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce says the airline came into the crisis in a very strong position, but is still suffering.
